Pole Vault

Client: Bahco

Pole Vault

The brief was simple: show the elasticity of Bahco's new Sanflex. The idea was at least ambitious: showing a pole vaulter using the Sanflex as the pole. The final result was: Brilliant!

The story

One of the outstanding characteristics of this tool (Sanflex) is its elasticity, which makes it unbreakable. That's where we started our search for an idea and after several presentations we arrived to the final sketch. A Pole Vault world tournament in a big stadium. Yes, it sounded nice but then we had to do it!

Where did we find our athlete?

When we started, it was clear for us that we had to find the correct athlete, and the High Performance Sports Centre (C.A.R.D.) was where we found him!

How did we accomplish a big stadium and a big crowd?

Without a doubt the biggest challenge was to fill the terraces with real people! As these works are generated in really high definition, it's very simple to notice people's faces. To do that we generated tens of pictures of people to be placed on the terraces. After that the lights of the stadium were studied and inserted to create a great night view.

How did we do it?

We had to build the structure to be able to create the correct perspective. Bearing in mind the light and the temperature of the colour, of course.

The final touch

To complete this fantastic image, we added photographers that give the crucial moment of the jump its most powerful touch.

The big jump

Without a doubt, this impressive picture is the product of the work of a team of numerous people in which every detail is crucial.
